Welcome to Cairns Boat Hire!

Cairns Boat Hire is situated in the beautiful Marlin Marina in Cairns, Queensland.  Just past the Reef Fleet Terminal, our brand new, custom made, floating office awaits.  Our pontoon and dingy boat hire service offers a different means of exploring Cairns and the Far North.

Hiring our self-drive boats is a popular pastime with locals.  Enjoy fishing, romantic outings and crocodile spotting along Trinity Inlet or just see beautiful Far North Queensland from the water.  Enjoy all day adventures or just head out to catch a crab.  We can supply fishing rods and bait and give you some clues about the good spots for catching fish. 

You can explore the maze of creeks that are home to some spectacular wildlife or meander down past the fishing boats, navy base and the yacht squadron to the southern end of Admiralty Island.

The Dingy and Pontoon boats are supplied with fuel - no license is required - just climb aboard and head off for a unique experience.

Opening hours

We open 7 days per week all year round from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. Hires can be organised for earlier starts and later returns by arrangement.

Hire arrangements are for daylight hours only.
